Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Dinemetry LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and application (the “Service”).
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), role, and business name.
- Business data — sales, labor, invoices, menu items, and other operational data you upload, connect, or enter.
- Payment information — processed directly by Stripe; we do not store your card details on our servers.
- Third-party integration data — if you connect a service like Square, we receive data (e.g. sales and order summaries) through that service’s API, using access tokens stored securely and never exposed to your browser.
- Communications — messages you send us through contact, support, or inquiry forms.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security (e.g. rate limiting, bot prevention) and to improve the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To generate the operational recommendations the Service is built around
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers we use to operate the Service, such as Stripe (payments), Square (POS data, only if you connect it), Resend (email delivery), and Google (spam/bot protection via reCAPTCHA).
- Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with notice to you.
Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, rate limiting, and secure token handling for third-party integrations. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
